It has been a privilege to serve on your behalf as a member of the Merced City Council for the past six and a half years. And I want to honor your trust by taking my experience to the Board of Supervisors.

For the past 15 years, I have worked with you, business leaders, law enforcement and educators in the fight against gangs, drugs and graffiti. This is a fight we must win because it is the key to Merced County’s economic development. If our communities are not safe for residents, then they are not safe for business. So it is important that the Merced County devote more resources to the Sheriff’s Department, the District Attorney and the Probation Department.

But winning the war against gangs, drugs and graffiti is just one of several issues the County must deal with in the future.

On this website you will find detailed positions and proposals on a number of issues such as Castle Airport’s underdevelopment since the Air Force pulled out in 1995. You can view a video that gives some background information on me and lets you know where I stand on the serious issues facing Merced County. And you can sign up to endorse my campaign, get a yard sign and listen to my radio commercials. All with the easy click of the buttons on the right side of this home page.
